This event is set up for the new students that are elected to be on the committee for their clubs during the 25-26 academic year. 

The purpose of the meeting is to give you a brief introduction to your roles and the SU so over the summer you know what we expect from you and some dates we expect them. In previous years groups have come back un-prepared for the new academic year and we have seen deadlines not be met meaning group development is effected. This will allow you to get a head start and allow groups to understand more so they can prep over the summer if needed.

It is important to note, due to new structure groups wiill need to fufill their respsonsibilities and the SU will not be about to extend deadlines, bend rules or do committee jobs for them. In other words, you miss deadlines, don't fufill your roles the group will suffer in their developement.
