Come down to Salford Art Gallery and Museum for an hour dedicated to slowly looking at artwork in a relaxed setting.
Each session starts by taking a moment to focus on our breathing – thinking about what we can see, hear and feel sitting in the gallery. The Art Gallery team will then talk you through an artwork – exploring things like colour, texture, light and shade.
After the slow looking, you’ll try a simple creative activity together designed by the Art Gallery facilitators. You don’t need to be good at art to try this – it’s just about having a go and trying something new.
Tickets: You must have a ticket to participate. Please sign up ahead of the session to save you time on the day.
Vibes: Expect a chill atmosphere.
Accessibility: We do our best to accommodate all access needs where possible. Should you require anything, please speak to the staff and committee there, and they will adjust the activity as needed.
What you need: All equipment will be provided; just bring yourselves!
