Salford SU: GamesCon VR Edition…

🎮 Welcome to GamesCon 2026 - level up your university experience and join the Gaming Society, Tabletop Society, and Esports Society.

Embark on a quest through diverse gaming stations, from consoles to tabletop treasures, and engage in friendly competitions for the evening. We're even bringing in a VR company for a truly immersive experience.

Open to all students, GamesCon is your chance to power up your semester with camaraderie and fun.

Tickets: You must have a ticket to participate. Please sign up before the session to save time on the day. Please do expect some wait as only 4 people can play at a time. The games are 5 minutes long each and you can go as many times as allowed. Once you arrive you can stay until 9.30pm regardless of what time you arrived.

Vibe: Expect a lively atmosphere, some conversation, games music/sounds and competitive language. 

Accessibility: You are not allowed to run while using the VR. Those who use mobility aids are welcome to participate as long as they are comfortable using one hand to control their device as they need at least one hand controlling part of the VR. There will be screens to watch other players as they play. We do our best to accommodate all access needs where possible. Should you require anything, please speak to the staff and committee there, and they will adjust the activity as needed.

What you need: All equipment will be provided; just bring yourself!
